Now online: ArcelorMittal in Germany

Berlin, 17 June 2013 - ArcelorMittal announces today the launch of a new website for ArcelorMittal Germany. It is now online at http://germany.arcelormittal.com. Local news and releases can be found there, an overview about the main production is available as well as information about ArcelorMittal's engagement as a responsible corporate citizen. Furthermore there are exciting stories about the latest product innovations and also information for those interested in exploring job opportunities.

A production volume of 7 million tonnes crude steel puts ArcelorMittal among the three largest steel producers in Germany. Its customers come from the automotive, construction and packaging industry, steel for household appliances also belong to the group's product range in Germany. ArcelorMittal runs four production facilities in the country. These include two fully integrated flat carbon sites in Bremen and Eisenhüttenstadt as well as two long carbon plants in Hamburg and Duisburg, specialised on wire products. ArcelorMittal has recently invested more than 130 million EUR into a new wire rod mill in Duisburg which uses latest technologies. The group also runs a broad range of steel service and distribution centers in Germany.

With the new website, the group now offers a fascinating insight to what ArcelorMittal Germany is contributing today to the national economy and the European steel industry .
