Meet with ArcelorMittal at EuroBLECH 2014

Hannover, 20 October 2014 - From 21 to 25 October in Hanover, ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products and ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions will present their most innovative offers at Euroblech, the world's leading trade fair for sheet metal working technology.

The stand, located at B58 in hall 17, is designed as a platform for dialogues and meetings with companies representing the entire sheet metal working technology chain, as well as key stakeholders of this industry.

Beyond presenting its latest products, this also offers an opportunity for ArcelorMittal to introduce its innovative approach to optimize the value chain. This includes customer proximity, special short lead times, logistical concepts, international availability and reliability in supply. “Beyond our excellent product offer, these solutions allow metal processing companies to fully address their business challenges”, comments Rainer Böse, Managing Director of ArcelorMittal FCE Germany GmbH.

ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions will present its approach towards tailor-made solutions, which include not only the product range, its quality, but also a specific logistical concept in order to fully meet the needs of its customers. The Distribution Solutions business offers steel products and solutions with design and technical support in more than 30 countries. A tight network in Germany of 21 service and distribution centers fully supports this approach in cooperation with the group's production facilities in the European region. “Our network is key for speed in supply and delivery reliability combined with an excellent product and technical service", says Patrick Meessen, CEO of ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions in Germany and Switzerland.

Highlighted products
Among other products ArcelorMittal will highlight Optigal™. This new coating increases the performance and anti-corrosion characteristics of coated steels for construction. Optigal uses half as much zinc as is normally required, and is increasingly applied as substrate in the coated steels produced by ArcelorMittal in Europe.

Magnelis® (zinc-aluminium-magnesium) is another product which demonstrates an exceptional surface protection and offers self-healing on cut edges against corrosion. Magnelis is developing fast, meeting the needs of many industries, the solar industry in particular.

The Nature collection of organic coated steel, free of hexavalent chromium and heavy metals, is enriched by new ranges: Granite® Impression and Granite® Silky Mat, which offer stunning textures and exciting finishes for elegant facades.
