Duisburg, 17 September 2014 - The Board of Directors at ArcelorMittal Duisburg has appointed Paul Tetteroo as chief executive officer. Tetteroo, who took over from Thorsten Brand in early September, has 19 years of work experience for ArcelorMittal in different positions. Most recently he was responsible for purchasing as chief procurement officer at ArcelorMittal Europe - long products in Luxembourg.
Tetteroo is 48 years old and studied engineering in Belgium at Ghent University. "We wish Paul Tetteroo in his new role a lot of success. With the new wire rod mill, we have created the most advanced production line of its kind in Duisburg. We also aim to provide our customers in the future with high quality wire products", said Alex Nick, CEO business division north at ArcelorMittal Europe - long products.
