    ArcelorMittal, with a production volume of around seven million tonnes of crude steel, is one of Germany’s largest steel manufacturers. Included in its customers are the automotive, construction and packaging industries as well as the household goods sector.

    Germany
    With a production volume of 7 million tonnes crude steel, ArcelorMittal is among the largest steel producers in Germany. Its customers come from the automotive and construction industry, as well as from the packaging and household appliances sector. The group runs four large production sites in the country. These are two fully integrated flat carbon sites in Bremen and Eisenhüttenstadt as well as two long carbon sites in Hamburg and Duisburg. Moreover the group has seven steel service centers and 16 distribution centers in the federal republic. ArcelorMittal employs more than 9,000 people in Germany.

    Europe
    ArcelorMittal employs more than 80,000 people and produces approximately half of its total steel volume in Europe. With a presence in 17 European countries and around 400 different sites, ArcelorMittal Europe had revenues of €29 billion and a crude steel production of 44 million tonnes in 2015. We supply flat and long steel products for all major steel markets, including the automotive, construction, packaging and household appliances industry – supported by a leading R&D and distribution network with 9 laboratories and 1,000 full-time researchers in Europe.
