This year, ArcelorMittal is excited to reveal applications using cutting-edge ArcelorMittal products such as:

A cold stamped Roof Arch in Fortiform® 1050, the new generation of Advanced High Strength Steels for cold forming

A crashed hot stamped B-pillar in newly developed grades Usibor® 2000 and Ductibor® 1000, which enable optimised side
impact energy absorption
• An innovative hot stamped Door Ring, a concept already being used in several customer
applications
• Jetgal®, a zinc coating deposited through Jet Vapor Deposition process (JVD), a hydrogen-free
coating process and a unique vacuum deposition process
ArcelorMittal is also a leading producer of laser welded blanks (LWBs), or tailored blanks, and has a specialised business unit called ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks. The LWB manufacturing technology improves the performance of components in a vehicle by putting the right steels in the right place, ensuring the optimal combination of strength and ductility. These products also reduce the weight and cost of vehicles, and improve safety by enhancing crash performance.
